How to install Render

Check your email

Within minutes of purchase you'll receive an email from outreach@rendertheme.store containing two things: a download link for the theme zip file, and your unique license key.

Download and unzip

Click the download link in the email. You'll get a .zip file — keep this file, you'll upload it directly to Shopify. Do not modify any files inside the zip.

Save your license key

Your license key looks like RNDR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Copy it and keep it somewhere safe — you'll need it in Step 4. Each key works on one store only and cannot be reused.

Go to your Shopify admin

Log in to your Shopify store and navigate to Online Store → Themes.

Upload the zip file

Click Add theme → Upload zip file and select the Render zip file you downloaded. Shopify will install the theme and it will appear in your theme library within a few seconds.

Customise before publishing

Click Customize on the Render theme to open the Theme Editor. You can configure all sections, colours, and content here before your store goes live.

Open Theme Settings

Inside the Theme Editor, click Theme Settings (the paintbrush icon at the bottom of the left sidebar), then scroll down to find the Render License section.

Paste your license key

Paste the key from your email into the License key field. It should look like RNDR-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Click Save.

Your theme is now activated

The first time the key is used on your store, it binds permanently to that store's domain. If you try to use the same key on a different store, it will be rejected — each purchase covers one store. Contact us if you need to transfer your license.

Publish the theme

When you're happy with your customisations, go back to Online Store → Themes and click Publish next to Render. Your store is now live on the new theme.

Getting future updates

When we release new versions of Render, we'll email you with a new download link. Simply upload the new zip the same way — Shopify will preserve all your content and settings. You can also email outreach@rendertheme.store at any time to request the latest version.
